Who are we? Meet the driving forces behind HipHoera Gepakt en Gezakt!

Welcome to HipHoera Gepakt en Gezakt ! We are Femke and Sjouke, two sisters with a shared passion for adventurous trips and quality time with our children. Together we want to inspire and help families to have unique, fun and unforgettable experiences. This without stress about planning and organization. Because let's be honest: if you've already had a busy day, isn't it great to just find the perfect place for a family outing in one glance?

We combine our experiences as teachers and mothers to help parents like you easily plan great trips. We both know the challenge: as teachers, we know that finding truly kid-friendly trips takes a lot of time and preparation. And as mothers of two children each, we just want to enjoy carefree family trips as often as possible.

Our Families, the inspiration behind our cards.

Femke, mother of Miel (°2009) and Nell (°2012), and Sjouke, mother of Bas (°2024) and Mees (°2027), are the heart of HipHoera Gepakt en Gezakt. We have both noticed how different the needs are depending on the age of our children. Miel and Nell are already teenagers, so we like to look for trips that really interest them, such as the unique locations on our Tienerfun Kaart . For families with younger children, such as Bas and Mees, we take other needs into account. Whether you are looking for a child-friendly restaurant with a play corner for a cozy dinner, or an adventurous walk where your little ones can also enjoy themselves, we make sure that there are options for every family and every age.

During the corona period, we, like many other parents, were often at our wits' end: what could we do with the children, close to home and without too much hassle? We were tired of endlessly scouring the internet for suitable outings, and that's how the idea for our Instagram page came about. We now inspire more than 16,000 followers there every day with child-friendly tips and fun outings!

Our success on Instagram gave us the confidence that there is a need for a reliable guide for parents. HipHoera Gepakt en Gezakt grew into more than a hobby: it became a mission to help parents with ready-made inspiration. Through our maps, we offer an even more convenient and clear platform than Instagram, with specific locations for each type of outing. Our Instagram followers are our biggest supporters, and thanks to their feedback, we were able to make the maps as practical and complete as they are today.

Why did we develop these maps?

So the idea for our maps came from our own experiences as parents. How many times have we asked ourselves: What are we going to do with the kids? Where can we find something fun that everyone can appreciate? The answer turned out to be surprisingly simple: a central overview full of inspiration and ready-made information, without the stress of long searches. That's how our idea for Google Maps maps came about, which really make life easier for parents!

We carefully select locations and only add places that have something special to offer. We have tested many of these places ourselves.
